Pathway Program

Pathway Program

Osteopathy is passed from hand to hand

The SCTF of ANZ aims to improve the education of practitioners of Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF) and to provide the best environment for Osteopaths to improve their clinical skills and their understanding of human health.

Our Pathway Program is an ideal way for you to develop your skills in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field in a supported and structured learning environment.   Acquiring these skills takes much time and effort but can be greatly enhanced by having access to a mentor and having materials presented in a progressive way.

The Pathway is presented in a modular form, progressing from basic anatomy and palpation skills to more detailed anatomy and specialized skills such as those required for treating the face or pediatric patient.   Pre-course study materials will be available on-line and an on-line forum will be accessible to aid and promote discussion between participants.

When you enroll in the Pathway program, you will undertake 3 modules of study. The component courses in these modules can be completed in any order but credit will be given in module order.

You will be assigned one of the current SCTF of ANZ faculty members,  who will act as a mentor and  will assist with any questions or discussions of case histories.  Mentors and faculty members will also be available for local study groups and to assist with your self-directed study of anatomy, physiology, clinical skills and case histories.

On completion of the Pathway you will be awarded a certificate of completion and be identified as a Pathway Graduate on our Register of Osteopaths practicing OCF.
