About Us
The Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation of Australia and New Zealand (SCTF of ANZ) was first established in 1990 with the objective of advancing the education of osteopathic practitioners.
The SCTF of ANZ is a registered not for profit organisation administered by a Board of Trustees selected from the teaching faculty.
Our aims are to:
- Teach professional development courses to registered osteopaths
- Strive for excellence in clinical osteopathy
- Promote the principles and practice of Osteopathy in the Cranial Field as taught by Doctors AT Still and WG Sutherland
- Provide training for osteopathic educators
- Support and promote osteopathic research
- Maintain international osteopathic relationships
Our courses are accredited for CPD points by the Australian Osteopathic Association and the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand. We are affiliated with the SCTF in the United States of America.
Our faculty has grown to 34 highly experienced and qualified tutors. Osteopaths who have completed our program of courses are eligible and encouraged to train to be future teaching faculty through our Assistant Tutor Training Program.
